I wished I had a chance to get to know this man. I have heard so many good things about him. I really feel ripped off for not knowing him.
This web forum is the best that I have been in...it should have been the first

I talked to Regis a coupla times.
He thought that i was a chick when I first started posting at ih; I talked about my GF, and he asked me if I was a Lesbian. I think that I disappointed him when I told him I was a guy. Another time, I asked him his advice about how to sustain the particularly deep passions that I had cultivated with my GF over the years that I've been with her, since the topic of the thread was about why folks let their relationships whither on the vine. He told me that I should send him a video tape of my passionate acts with my GF, and he would give me a thorough critique of what it would take to sustain that depth to my lovelife. I think that he honestly meant it, kinda.
He was a funny MF.
Mr. Messner was a tortured soul, very evidently. I'm sorry that he got sick in the way that he did. I hope that this place provided him some solace that he might not have otherwise had.
I don't exactly know what to say.
Best wishes the next time around. Maybe he'll come back as dolphin. That'd be a cool new incarnation. i can imagine him as a dolphin. Or a Boston! he seems like a Boston terrier fella.
you all knew him better than me, so I'll shut up now.

"Thank you for logging in, happyjill. No, really, thank you."
I remember Jon. I wrote him and asked him some questoins not pertaining to this site or his business interests, but some research I was doing in another area, and he was gracious enough to answer me at length. I was surprised that someone with as much going on as him would take the time. I didn't know much about this posting forum, but over the past year or so, since he has been gone, have read much here. He must have had quite an impact on people.

He was related to a well known person I was writing about. He was not fond of this person, but he was willing to take the time with me, so I appreciated it.
