Report: Al-Qaida in Iraq leader identified with photograph

CAIRO, Egypt — Al-Arabiya television reports it has identified the leader of "al-Qaida in Iraq" and the network broadcast his photograph.

The Dubai-based network, citing an Iraqi police official, said the real name of Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, who allegedly heads the Islamic State of Iraq, is Hamid Dawoud al-Zawi.

Originally from Haditha, al-Baghdadi served in the Iraqi army under Saddam Hussein, then joined al-Qaida in 2003, the police official told Al-Arabiya.

The U.S. has described al-Baghdadi as a fictitious character.

كشف قائد شرطة مدينة حديثة عن شخصية المسؤول الأول عن تنظيم القاعدة في العراق الذي يسمى زعيم تنظيم دولة العراق الإسلامية أبو عمر البغدادي. وقال العقيد فارق الجغيفي إن البغدادي هو ضابط سابق في جيش صدام حسين يدعى حامد الزاوي، وذلك بحسبما ما ذكرت قناة "العربية" الأربعاء 7-5-2008. وبحسب المسؤول الأمني العراقي الذي عرض صورا للزواي، فإن الأخير بدأ الخطابة في المساجد بشكل منتظم بعد فصله من الجيش قبل أن ينضم إلى تنظيم القاعدة تحت قيادة أبي مصعب الزرقاوي.

ونشأ تنظيم "دولة العراق الإسلامية إثر دعوة مؤسس تنظيم القاعدة جناح العراق، أبو مصعب الزرقاوي، لانضواء جميع الحركات المسلحة السنية تحت لواء واحد، تحت مسمى "مجلس شورى المجاهدين"" في ديسمبر/كانون الأول عام 2005، وقد تولى أبو حمزة المهاجر، الذي يعُرف كذلك بـ"أبو أيوب المصري" زعامة القاعدة خلفاً للزرقاوي عقب مقتل الأخير في غارة أمريكية في يونيو/حزيران 2006.

وفي أكتوبر/تشرين الأول عام 2006، تم استبدال "مجلس شورى المجاهدين" بـ"دولة العراق الإسلامية" التي تضم بحسب مؤسسيسها بغداد والأنبار وديالى وكركوك وصلاح الدين ونينوى وأجزاء من محافظتي بابل وواسط. وبايعت جميع الحركات البغدادي أميراً.

Sunnis urge Arabs action against 'Iranian occupation'

Authorities have identified the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, as Hamid Dawoud al-Zawi, an Iraqi police official told Al Arabiya News Channel.

Al-Baghdadi, who heads the Islamic State of Iraq, is originally from Haditha. He served in the Iraqi army under Saddam Hussein before joining al-Qaeda in 2003, the official said on condition of anonymity.

The U.S. military in Iraq did not confirm the report, citing security reasons. Until now, it has described Baghdadi as fictitious.


Meanwhile, an Iraqi Sunni delegation on a visit to Cairo urged Arab countries to act against what it called the "Iranian occupation" of Iraq.

"We would like a common Arab position to save Iraq and its people...(in the face of) the Iranian occupation," Sheikh Majid Abdel Razzak al-Ali Suleiman said after a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

"Such an Arab position, led by Egypt, is necessary to weaken Iran's role in Iraq, because if Tehran occupies this country, it will occupy other Arab countries too," said the head of the Dulaim tribe, which is concentrated mainly in Anbar province, west of Baghdad.

Sunni tribes from Anbar, a onetime stronghold of the anti-US insurgency, have recently allied themselves with US troops against al-Qaeda militants, while keeping their distance from the Shiite-dominated Baghdad government.

The delegation also called on Arab countries to re-open their missions in Baghdad "so that the territory is not left to Iran."

Suleiman said that all Iraqis, whether from north or south, "are ready to guarantee Arab diplomats' security."

For his part, Aboul Gheit said his country was seriously considering sending a security mission to Iraq in order to assess conditions for re-opening an embassy in Iraq, according to his spokesman Hossam Zaki.

Whenever we see the Mujahidoon increase their strikes against the enemies of Allah, we see the pain and suffering associated with these strikes turn to fables and false hopes floating about in the ranks of the Crusader leaders and their aides, which then take the shape of lies and fabrications which they broadcast right and left in order to hide the huge losses they are suffering on the hands of the lions of Tawheed.

Since the announcement of the Islamic State of Iraq, TV channels and newspapers from time to time holler out some information that some leader of the Islamic State of Iraq has been killed or arrested. The latest piece of news was the announcement of some Iraq TV channels the Leader of the Islamic State, Sheikh Abu Omar Al-Baghdadi, may Allah protect him, has been captured.

For this reason, we in the Islamic State of Iraq would like to clarify that the news announced by the apostate Qasim ‘Ata is false, and the person whose picture was aired on Iraq TV stations is not known to us at all. All that was aired in this regards was mere theatrics written by the keepers of the "Black House", played out by the media of their aides.

We bring good tidings to the Islamic Ummah that the Leader of the Believers, Sheikh Abu Omar Al-Baghdadi, may Allah protect him, is well and fine.

We would also like to give good tidings that victory is looming over the horizon, Allah willing, and that [the Ummah] will pulverize the throne of the enemies of Allah, whether it be through honor or humiliation – honor which Allah grants Islam, or humiliation which Allah casts upon disbelief and its adherents.

And Allah is the Greatest.

How you are pleased that he rules you who the lying considers a religion and he does not refrain to lie in the least a thing and its faster a statement ? ! How he fulfil you its promises and he condemns that the Sunnis is setting an ungrateful, their blood and their moneys are a lawful ? !

* you rush lights and heavies and fight by your moneys you and yourselves for God's sake this a wealth for you if are knowing }, then no rescue for you, no forgiveness and no winning except if you complied with directing your saying lord : * Oh you who believe do I show you on ? A trade it saves you from a painful torment * you believe in Allah and its messenger and fight for God's sake by your moneys and yourselves ? ذَ?Lekum is a wealth of you if are knowing }, and it said peace be upon him : " Who died and he did not invade and did not talk about it himself that died on a section from a hypocrisy ", and Abu Dawoud narrated - Allah had mercy on him - :" Who did not invade and he did not prepare an invader or succeeds an invader in its family fine by a beating before the Doomsday " .

إنّ الحمدَ لله نحمدهُ ونستعينهُ، من يهدهِ الله فلا مُضلّ له، ومن يُضلل فلا هاديَ له، وأشهدُ أن لا إله إلا الله وحدهُ لا شريكَ له، وأشهدُ أنّ محمداً عبدهُ ورسوله .

أمّــا بـعـد

فقد قالَ الله تعالى : ** إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ } ، وقالَ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كما في صحيح البخاري : " إنّ الصدق يهدي إلى البر، وإنّ البر يهدي إلى الجنة ، وإن الرجلَ ليصدقُ حتى يكونَ صديقاً، وإنّ الكذبَ يهدي إلى الفجور، وإنّ الفجور يهدي إلى النار، وإن الرجلَ ليكذب حتى يُكتب عند الله كذّابا ".

وفيه عن أبي هريرةَ -رضي الله عنه- أنّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " آية المنافقِ ثلاث: إذا حدَّثَ كَذَب، وإذا وعدَ أخلف، وإذا اؤتمن خان " .

لقد فوجئ الجميع بكذبة حكّام قصور البعث في المنطقة الخضراء مدّعين مجددًا أنهم اعتقلوا العبد الفقير في بغداد, وظننتُ أنهم سيطلقونها فحسب لساعات حتى يستوعبوا شدَّةَ ضربات المجاهدين، ولكن روَّجوا لها وصدقوا كذبتهم، حتى أنهم أخرجوا صورة رجلٍ عذّبوه لا نعلم من أين أتوا بها ولا مَن هذا الرجل، فسجونهم مليئةٌ بعبادِ اللهِ المظلومين من أهل السنة، مُدّعين أنّ الصورةَ لأبي عمر البغدادي.

وبمقارنةٍ بسيطةٍ بين ما يستحله هؤلاء العملاء من الكذب، وبين ما كان عبّاد الأوثانِ كفار قريش يفعلونه، حيث أدنى هرقل الروم أبا سفيان وقال: " قرِّبوا أصحابه فاجعلوهم عند ظهره", ثمّ قال لترجمانه: " قل لهم إني سائل عن هذا الرجل فإن كذبني فكذبوه", فقال أبو سفيان في روايةٍ : " فوالله لو قد كذبت ما ردُّوا علي ولكني كنت امرؤ سيداً أتكرم عن الكذب وعلمتُ أن أيسرَ ما في ذلك إن أنا كذبته أن يحفظوا ذلك عني، ثمَّ يتحدثوا به فلم أكذبه"، فقد تركَ الكذب استحياءً وأنفةً, وراعى ما كان عليه من الشرف والسؤدد.

أما عملاءُ اليوم فنفوسُهم نفوسُ العبيد، وهم في أنفسهِم وعند الناسِ أحقرُ من الذباب، فتراهم لا يستحيون من فجور, لأن الكذب فجور, بل هو أصل الفجور لقولهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " الكذبُ يهدي إلى الفُجور " .

والكذب وحيٌ شيطاني ضعيف، لا يقوم على ساقٍ عندما يواجه بفعل وقول المجاهدين, فالكاذب تنزّل عليه الشياطين كما قال تعالى : ** هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيَاطِينُ * تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيم ٍ* يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ } .

ولا ريب فإنّ هؤلاء الرافضةَ يتعبّدون ويتقربون إلى إبليسهم بالكذب، فهُم كما قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيميةَ -رحمه الله- عدوهم اللدود : " فليسَ في الطوائفِ المنتسبة إلى القبلة أكثرُ كذباً ولا أكثرُ تصديقاً للكذب وتكذيباً للصدق منهم, وسيما النفاق فيهم أظهر منه في سائر الناس", بينما أهل السنة عموماً وأبناؤهم المجاهدون خصوصاً يتقربون إلى الله بالصدق يصدقون الله ويصدقون الناس.

يقول الزهري رحمه الله : "والله لو نادى منادٍ من السماء أن الله أحلّ الكذب ما كذبت", فهؤلاء هم أهل السنة وهؤلاء علماؤهم لا علماء التقية والفجور.

وعلى الجملة, فالصدق أساس الحسنات وجماعها، وهو سمة أهل السنة. والكذب أساس السيئات ونظامها وهو شعار عبّاد الزهرةِ والحسين، ولا شكّ أنّ عِظم الكذبِ ومراتبه متفاوتةٌ بحسب تفاوتِ مفاسده ومن يصدر منهُ، فعن أبي هريرة -رضي الله عنه- قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كما في صحيح مسلم : " ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم ولا ينظر إليهم ولهم عذابٌ أليم: شيخٌ زانٍ, وملكٌ كذّاب، وعائل مستكبر " , ورُوِي : " ثلاثة يبغضهم الله : ملكٌ كذّاب، وعائل مستكبر، وغني بخيل " .

فيا عجباً يا أهل السنة :

كيف ترضون أن يحكمكم من يعتبر الكذب ديناً وهو لا يتورع أن يكذب في أقل شيء وأسرعه بياناً ؟! فكيف سيصدقكم في وعوده وهو يدين بأن أهل السنّة ناصبة كفّار، دماؤهم و أموالهم حلال؟!

فها هي المناطق التي ادّعوا أنهم حرروها من أيدي المجاهدين، ماذا قدموا لها من خدمات ولأهلها من أمن؟ إلا سرقةَ أموال التجار وانتهاك أعراض العفيفات سواء بأنفسهم أو بواسطة عملائهم مرتدي الصحوات.

فيا أهل السنة :

الرافضةُ أعداؤكم , تاريخهم وحاضرهم مليء بخيانتكم والتآمر عليكم . لا تثقوا فيهم, وإياكم أن يخدعكم كلامهم المعسول فوراءه مكرٌ كالحٌ بليلٍ أسود.

بيّض الله وجوهكم كما بيّضتم وجوه أهل السنة، فقد والله أثبتت المحنُ أنكم من خيرِ معادن الأرض نقاءً وصفاءً وثباتاً.

و أبشروا يا جنود الله, فإني أحسب أنكم ابتليتم وصبرتم, وزلزلتم فثبتم, ورميتم فأشخصتم وما انحنيتم، وتكالبوا عليكم فما تفرقتم واجتمعتم، فهنيئاً لكم الأجر في الآخرةِ والنصر في الدنيا، فإن عجلتهُ بدأت تدور وتجري بأسرع مما كنا نظن، فاعترف العدو بكل أشكاله وأصنافه بأن الفترة التي أعقبت خطتكم, خطةَ حصاد الخير, كانت الأقسى عليهم منذ نحو عام, وليس هذا من قبيل المصادفة فعددُ قتلى الأمريكان الأكثر ولم يعد يسعفهم قولهم (قُتل في حادث غير قتالي)! ، وتضاعف عددُ قتلى المرتدين, وكانت دُرّة العمل أن أُجبرت دولة الفرس المجوس على غلقِ حدودها, وفي بادرةٍ لم تحدث منذ احتلال بغداد على أيدي الحلف الصليبي المجوسي فالحمد لله أولاً وأخيراً.

- شهورٌ معدودة وستلامسون النصر بأيديكم وتروه بأعينكم كما رأيتموه من قبل ولكن أكثر نقاءً وصفاءً وثباتاً، وما عليكم إلا :

أولاً : حسن التوكل على الله, والثقة بوعده, وصدقُ التوجه إليه, والإلحاحُ عليه في المسألة.

ثانياً : العمل الدؤوب وبكل طاقةٍ ممكنة وعلى كل محاور خطة (حصاد الخير) دون إهمالٍ لأي جانبٍ منها، واعلموا أن ربكم استنفركم ولم يترك لكم عذراً فقال سبحانه :

** انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالًا وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ذلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ } , فلا نجاة لكم ولا مغفرة ولا فوزاً إلا إذا انصعتم لتوجيه ربكم القائل : ** يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى? تِجَارَةٍ تُنْجِيكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ * تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ ? ذَ?لِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ }، وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم : " من ماتَ ولم يغزُ ولم يُحدّث به نفسه مات على شعبة من نفاق "، وروى أبوداوود -رحمه الله- :" من لم يغزُ و لم يُجهز غازياً أو يخلف غازياً في أهله بخير أصابه الله بقارعةٍ قبل يوم القيامة ".

فأنتم يا عباد الله في تجارةٍ رابحةٍ لا خيبةَ فيها ولا خسران, والضامنُ فيها هو الله الواحد الديّان، وحسبُك بقول نبينا العدنان فرحاً وبشرى، حيث قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: " انتدب الله لمن خرج في سبيله لا يخرجه إلا إيمان بي وتصديق برسلي أن أرجعه بما نال من أجرٍ أو غنيمةٍ أو أدخله الجنة، ولولا أن أشقّ على أمتي ما قعدتُ خلفَ سرية, ولوددت أني أقتل في سبيل الله ثم أحيا ثم أقتل ثم أحيا ثم أقتل".

واعلم يا ولي الله يا من حبست نفسك في سبيل الله أن خوفكَ وأكلك وشربك وضحكك ومزاحك وعرقك ووطء حذائك لكَ فيه أجر، ولمَ لا , فقد قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في شأن الخيلِ المحبوسةِ في سبيل الله : " فأما التي هي له أجر فالرجل يتخذها في سبيل الله ويعدها له فلا تغيب شيئاً في بطونها إلا كتب الله له أجراً ولو رعاها في مرج ما أكلت من شيء إلا كتب الله له بها أجراً, ولو سقاها من نهر كان له بكل قطرة تغيبها في بطونها أجر حتى ذكر الأجر في أبوالها وأرواثها ولو استنت شرفاً أو شرفين كتب له بكل خطوة تخطوها أجر" ، هذا في الخيل إذا حبسها المسلم في سبيل الله، فكيف إذا حبس المسلم نفسه بل وماله وأهله في سبيل الله؟ كيف تظنون أجره؟

فـالإخـلاص الإخـلاص يا جنـود الله.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إنما الأعمال بالنيات وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى "، وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم : " والذي نفسي بيده لا يُكلم أحد في سبيل الله والله أعلم بمن يكلم في سبيله إلا جاء يوم القيامة اللون لون الدم والريح ريح المسك", وقال : " لأن أقتل في سبيل الله أحبُّ إليّ مِن أن يكون لي أهل المدر والوبر " .


وليكن شعاركم بينكم الذي لا يغيب عن أذهانكم أبداً، والذي لا توفَّقون إن تخلفتم عنه قوله تعالى : ** أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ }.

وأخيراً, أوصيكم بوصيةِ رسولِ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كما عند أحمد أن رجلاً قال له: أوصني, فقال: " أوصيك بتقوى الله فإنه رأس كل شيء، وعليك بالجهاد فإنه رهبانية الإسلام, وعليك بذكر الله وتلاوة القرآن فإنه رَوحك في السماء وذكرك في الأرض" .

اللهم منزل الكتاب و مجري السحاب وهازم الأحزاب، اهزمهم وانصرنا عليهم.

** واللهُ غالبٌ على أمره ولكنّ أكثرَ الناسِ لا يعلمون }
