McCrappy PC Rapist & Norton Internet Bukkakefest, two of the shittiest peices of software in existance that dare sport the label "Internet Security".
My dick is a better anti-virus solution.
Neither will remove Virtumonde.B trojan, both failed to even recognize it, both need 8 million GB of RAM and will use 150% of your PC's resources all the time.

Norton AV is shite...
ask ANYONE who has tried to remove it...
you have to:
. uninstall
. find and delete files on your hard drive
. go thru the entire registry and clean out any keys you find...
piece of shit...
if you want AV use AVG...

I used to use both Norton's and McAfree. They constantly let shit slip through and never once helped me out when I needed them to do what I paid for them to do... Namely remove viruses. I ran into problems about twice a month because of this.
I started Using AVG about three months ago and have not had a single problem since. You're absolutely right about AVG.
Why does it seem to take smaller software companies or independent groups to develop software that is actually functional, user-friendly, and not a leech on you comp?

Back in the day (DOS 6 & Windows 3.1) Norton Utilities & Antivirus were decent products that did their job right, now they're all just money grubbing whores.

I quite like Eset smart security, tried it for a couple of months and it's certainly not resource hungry and quite efficient, the only stuffing around really was creating rules to access other comps about the house and iptv.
Still in Beta but looking good.
Gave up on AVG because wasn't happy with it's email filtering slug, too slow.
