It was a fun job, no doubt. I did 2 college bars in Baltimore, rotating weekends. No dance floor to speak of, just a lot of draft beer and college kids - they dance pretty much where they want to. I played anything from 60s Motown to Blister In The Sun and everything in between. Years later, I was a bartender - the place had a sports bar upstairs, a lounge slash gathering place downstairs, and a dance club in the back. One out of my seven years working there was DJing in the dance club. Good times!
