Canadian Press, quoting some government official, says there were two shooters, one killed by SWAT and the other by himself.

TV is the best source of info at the moment. Many choppers over the scene. Reuters has heard that there were four shooters, two of those dead, two others dead, 16 wounded, 3 critically.

I listen to the news all day long and they just started reporting on this 1/2 hour ago.

No more shooting for some time now. It's pretty certain now there are two shooters dead. No police casualties. As far as I can tell, only one building is involved, and it is now full of armed cops going room to room. It is possible (only possible) that one gunman was chased and fired upon and is now unaccounted for.
I don't yet see any pattern in the victims, which would suggest a motive of the shooters. Everyone immediately suspects that the Religion of Peace has struck again, but at the moment I would bet against it.

update from the police: at least 4 total dead and 8 seriously wounded.
The building is connected by tunnels to the subway and to nearby malls and an office building.
