I have to say that I am uneasy with the coming of the fifth anniversary of 9/11 and Ramadan ("Jihad Month") less than two weeks later. One can overdo the focus on anniversary dates as far as guessing future attack dates goes, but the attack in Madrid did occur exactly 2 1/2 years after 9/11. The recent call on President Bush and all other Americans to convert to Islam could have been to satisfy a preliminary requirement for another attack on the US in conformity with Islam. Add to that the big Jihadi media offensive and the past correlation between OBL's or Al-Zawahiri's tapes and subsequent attacks. After all this build-up, there should be a big "where's the beef?" cry from jihadi footsoldiers if something fairly big doesn't happen in the next few weeks.
